Power of Attorney

Image of a computer monitor with a web browser page open. Banner image reads 'Power of attorney'. There is a menu of selectable options on the left hand side. Title: Power of Attorney.

A power of attorney provides the ability to appoint a person to manage your financial affairs, health matters, or any other matter you need someone to oversee when you're unavailable. The power of attorney may give someone full authority, or the powers may be limited to certain decisions or transactions. It can also be used to allow someone else to manage your financial matters if you are out of the country, ill or incapacitated, whether temporarily or long-term.
