Moving is always stressful, but the degree of stress can vary greatly from person to person. Some cope well and adjust quickly, while others may take months or even longer to fully adapt to a new environment. Sometimes moving stress can impact your ability to fully concentrate on your military duties. Don't let stress get the best of you or your family — take advantage of these programs to get information, tools and support.
Military and family support centers can provide service members and their families with the additional assistance they need during a move. Staff can evaluate individuals and refer them to the appropriate support services and programs. Contact information for your installation is available on MilitaryINSTALLATIONS by selecting Family Center and your installation.
