Joining Community Forces Initiative

As the military community continues to transition from a high-deploying environment to "home" life, those of us who serve the military community may wonder, how will we best provide the services and support our service members and their families deserve — especially those living outside the installation walls?

Tax Resources for National Guard and Reserve Members

Filing taxes can cause anxiety and headaches for service members and their families. Not only do they have to try to locate all the right forms and fill them out correctly like we all do, but they have the added challenge of dealing with changes in pay status that can come from deployment, hazard pay, certain tax exemptions and more.

Military and Family Readiness

Family programs and services assist commanders with combat readiness by providing a system of support to the service members and families. This support, including financial counseling, relocation assistance, deployment support, new parent support and more, can assist with meeting recruitment goals, preventing loss of duty time, increasing readiness to deploy, preventing erosion of motivation and commitment to the mission, and maintaining operational readiness of the military force.
