How the Parent Review Can Help You Begin Your Parenting Journey

As a new or expectant parent, you may feel overwhelmed with the amount of information and opinions out there telling you how to have a healthy pregnancy and raise a healthy, well-adjusted child. As helpful as this wealth of information might be, it can be difficult to know what questions to ask and where to begin your search for answers.

The Parent Review is here to help. Through weekly email newsletters, The Parent Review delivers convenient and useful information to help you begin your parenting journey with confidence and stay one step ahead of your developing baby.

What is The Parent Review?

The Parent Review, brought to you via TRICARE, is a weekly email newsletter specifically for expecting and new parents in the military community. The information that you receive is customized just for you based on your child's due date or current age, which you input during the sign up process. Each week you'll receive a newsletter in your email that may include developmental milestones, parenting questions and answers, recent research findings and the latest parenting news. You'll continue to receive the newsletters until your child's first birthday. After your child's first birthday, your subscription will automatically expire.

How to register

The registration process is simple, quick and free of charge. Visit The Parent Review, and fill out the registration information to sign up for the Department of Defense's standard edition newsletter. If you are receiving obstetric or pediatric care from a military treatment facility, ask your provider if they are participating in The Parent Review and if so, ask how to sign up for the version customized to your facility. Either option provides the same valuable information in the same convenient format.

If you could have information about your pregnancy or developing baby delivered to you every week at no cost, why wouldn't you take advantage of it? The Parent Review delivers the latest relevant, research-based information all in a format that is easy to read and follow. Each week you'll learn a little more about your developing baby so you can confidently guide and support your little one. Sign up today.
