The Spouse Education and Career Opportunities’ Career Counselors offer expert advice and counseling to military spouses at all stages of their education and career paths from the initial career exploration through the preparation for transition to the civilian world.
Spouse Education and Career Opportunities' Career Counselors
Spouse Education and Career Opportunities' Career Counselors can assist military spouses at any point during their education and career paths, even as they are preparing to transition with their military service member to civilian life. Spouses of service members separated from active duty, National Guard and Reserve Components for less than 180 days are eligible to participate in the SECO program.
The SECO Career Counselors are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. EDT, Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays by calling 800-342-9647. If spouses call outside of these hours, Military OneSource representatives capture basic information for the SECO Career Counselor to use when the counselor returns the call the next business day.
