Ask yourself, How are YOU going to be the change you want to see in the world? Whether you’re focused on your personal life, family, community or the world itself, YOU can make the biggest impact by being the change you want to see in the world.

Meet the DASD
DASD Barron is responsible for a broad portfolio that includes policy, advocacy and oversight of all community support to service members and their families.
April is Month of the Military Child, and the Defense Department is honoring military children and youth this month — and all year long. We are also offering a number of virtual events throughout the month including a discussion about teen mental health with the Military Youths of the Year.
On April 21, Mrs. Patricia Barron, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy, will speak during the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s 2022 Military Teen Summit, where military children are being encouraged to lead, serve and inspire.
