Things remain in flux when it comes to how service members are being affected by coronavirus disease 2019. The secretary of defense signed a memorandum in May 2020 that is the current authority for COVID-19-based travel restrictions, pay, benefits and duty questions and answers. The memorandum shifted personnel movement and travel restrictions to a conditions-based phased approach. Review the sections below that ask the questions to which you may still be seeking answers.
