Military Service Representative: Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management, Headquarters, U.S. Army

Lieutenant General Gwen Bingham became the 14th U.S. Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management on June 30, 2016.

General Bingham is the principal military adviser to the Chief of Staff of the Army and multiple Assistant Secretaries of the Army for all matters related to installations, including facilities and infrastructure, environmental programs, housing, morale, welfare and recreation, family support programs, public and private partnerships, and energy and water security and sustainability. General Bingham focuses on resourcing Total Army readiness through infrastructure, installation services, and family programs.

General Bingham has served in a variety of staff and leadership positions during her 35 years of Army service from platoon leader to commanding general. She deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. She most recently served as Commanding General of Tank-automotive and Armaments Life Cycle Management Command in Warren, Michigan.
