Vet Centers
A recent outreach initiative provides free counseling resources for our National Guard service members and their families. Over 300 Veteran Centers coordinate with each of our states to provide counseling services during agreed-upon drill weekends, annual training and other training events. This builds upon several strong relationships many of the states already have with Vet Centers through our Yellow Ribbon Reintegration and other outreach events. Vet Centers across the country provide a broad range of counseling, outreach and referral services to combat veterans and their families. Vet Centers guide veterans and their families through many of the major adjustments in lifestyle that often occur after a veteran returns from combat. All services are free of cost and are strictly confidential.
