The National Military Family Association advocates for military families to enhance their quality of life through innovative programming and dynamic and responsive solutions. The NMFA directly supports military families through Operation Purple® Camps and military spouse scholarships.
Operation Purple® Camps bring together military-connected children, youth and teens from all ranks and services, including National Guard and reserve components, to a unique and memorable summer camp experience. They provide military families with the opportunity to reconnect as a family through fun, family-oriented activities in the outdoors.
Since 2004, NMFA has cheered on military spouses by awarding scholarships to help pay for everything from GEDs to Ph.D.s, professional licenses and certifications, including re-licensure, business and entrepreneurial expenses, supervised clinical hours, continuing education courses and more.
