Jennifer C. Luscher was born in New Jersey and raised in Youngstown, New York, a small village at the mouth of the Niagara River. As a child, she enjoyed playing soccer and sailing on the river. She attended the Nichols School in Buffalo and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University.

Mrs. Luscher and her husband Tom have been married for 24 years. They have two children – Alex, a senior at Tulane University and Katie, a sophomore at the Culinary Institute of America.

Mrs. Luscher is a registered Occupational Therapist in Maryland and worked full time until recently. Her passion is helping children with various disabilities to lead a happy and more normal life. Her other interests include gardening, making puzzles and boating. She also considers herself a “foodie” after being immersed in the gastronomic culture of New Orleans.

Mrs. Luscher is committed to serving in any way that she can as a flag spouse. She considers it an honor to be part of the group and she looks forward to any opportunities to help Navy families.
