Identity theft can wreak havoc with your finances, credit history, and reputation – and it can take time, money, and patience to resolve. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, has prepared some new resources to help repair the damage that identity theft can cause, and reduce your risk of identity theft. The FTC has tips, worksheets, contact information, blank forms, and sample letters to use when navigating the recovery process.
