Are you getting ready to transition from active duty to civilian life? Be sure to take advantage of the redesigned Transition Assistance Program available in each branch of the military. It has all the information, tools and training you need to prepare you for the next step in your civilian life. The redesigned TAP includes an outcome-based curriculum known as Transition GPS (Goals, Plans, Success) and individual training tracks focused on higher education, technical training and entrepreneurship. Transition GPS curriculum, delivered in classroom environments on installations, is also available online to service members anytime through Joint Knowledge Online.

Whether you are pursuing education or employment, or starting your own business, TAP offers easily accessible resources and information. To find out more about TAP, please visit your local transition assistance staff office on your installation or visit the DoDTAP website.

In addition to TAP, below are links to a variety of services that will make your transition back to civilian life a smooth one.
