Why do I have to update my Military OneSource account password so often?Due to government security protocols, passwords of Military OneSource account holders expire every 60 days.
To extend the life of your password from 60 days to 150 days, turn on two-factor authentication. Additionally, if you choose to log in with either DS Logon or ID.me, the passwords associated with those login options are separate from Military OneSource and are maintained and managed via those respective sites.

If your accounts use different email addresses, you will need to set up a new Military OneSource account user profile and assign your roles. You will need to assign at least one role that matches your profile identity.
