DOD STARBASE Education Program

DOD STARBASE is a premier educational program that is sponsored by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. At DOD STARBASE, students participate in challenging activities in science, technology, engineering and math. They get to interact with military personnel to explore careers and observe STEM applications in the real world.

The primary focus of DOD STARBASE is its program for fifth graders, which is designed to motivate students to explore STEM opportunities as they continue their education. The academies serve students who are historically underrepresented in STEM fields.

Explore the DOD STARBASE website to learn more about the programs and opportunities offered for children.
