The Boys & Girls Clubs of America SMART Moves program is designed to promote responsible behavior in young people ages 6-15, and help them avoid substance abuse and adolescent sexual involvement.
The program uses a team approach that involves BGCA staff, peer leaders, parents and community representatives in offering age-appropriate activities where youth can practice decision-making skills, develop assertiveness, and build awareness of media and peer influences.
