Creating Accessibility Series

Overview

The Defense Department provides access to resources for the entire military community. This requires all DOD PDFs, presentations and videos to be Section 508-compliant. The Creating Accessibility courses instruct content creators on how to meet Section 508 standards when creating:

  • PowerPoint presentations
  • PDF documents
  • Videos

The intended audience for these courses includes:

  • Third-party content creators
  • Military Community and Family Policy staff who create content

However, anyone can take these courses. Whether you are getting ready for an event, creating a presentation or preparing reference materials, check out these and other self-directed courses offered through MilLife Learning. Learn more about each of these courses below.
