WIC – USDA’s Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children

Benefit overview

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children gives children a healthy start. The program provides free, healthy foods to pregnant women and children up to age 5 as well as nutrition education and personalized support.

How this benefit helps

Pregnant, recently pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children under 5 years old are eligible for WIC benefits. The program provides the following:
