MyCAA: Scholarship for Military Spouses

Overview

The My Career Advancement Account Scholarship is open to spouses of active-duty service members in pay grades E-1 to E-6, W-1 to W-2 and O-1 to O-3 who have successfully completed high school and have the ability to request tuition assistance while their military sponsor is on Title 10 military orders. Spouses married to members of the National Guard and reserves in these same pay grades are eligible. You can check your eligibility for the scholarship by visiting the MyCAA website and applying for an account.

The Defense Department expanded scholarship eligibility for military spouses as part of its commitment to take care of service members and their families. Under the new initiative, military spouses in pay grades E-6 and O-3 can now access financial assistance to earn a license, certification or associate degree. This expands eligibility for the MyCAA Scholarship to a limited number of military spouses of service members in these pay grades. The first 1,250 approved applicants will receive MyCAA financial assistance based on available funding.
