Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.
Army Birthday
Founded in 1775, the Army is the land warfare service branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. It is the oldest and largest of the seven uniformed services, with 481,254 active-duty members in 2020.
Coast Guard Auxiliary Birthday
Founded in 1939, the Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed auxiliary service of the U.S. Coast Guard. Its duty is to support Coast Guard missions except for roles that require “direct” law enforcement or military engagement.
PTSD Awareness Day

Boys & Girls Club Military Youth of the Year Ceremony
The Military Youth of the Year award recognizes military-connected youth, ages 14 to 18, for their commitment to community service, academic success, good character and citizenship, and establishing long-term goals.
Purple Heart Day

Marine Corps Reserve Birthday

Navy Birthday

National Guard Birthday
Founded in 1636, the National Guard is a reserve military force composed of National Guard units of each state and the territories of Guam, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. Most guardsmen hold civilian jobs while serving part time. National Guard units are under the dual control of the state and the federal government.
Space Force Birthday
Founded in 2019, the Space Force is the newest branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. It was established within the Department of the Air Force, meaning the secretary of the Air Force has overall responsibility under the guidance and direction of the secretary of defense.
