Who We Are
Military Community and Family Policy is directly responsible for establishing quality-of-life policies and programs that help our guardians of country, their families and survivors be well and mission ready. Military OneSource is the gateway to MC&FP programs and services that support the everyday needs of the 5.2 million service members and immediate family members of the military community. These Department of Defense services can be accessed 24/7/365 around the world.

Mission Statement
The mission of Military OneSource and the network of MC&FP websites, applications and programs is to contribute to force readiness and quality of life by providing policies and programs that advance the well-being of service members, their families, survivors and other eligible members of the military community.
VISION
We will build the foundation for a continuum of support across military and civilian communities that enable service members, military families and survivors to thrive.
Goal 1
Build an enduring support system that is agile enough to address emerging service member and family needs and resilient in the face of shifting external pressures.
Goal 2
Extend and enhance the continuum of support to provide needed services to service members and families where they live.
Goal 3
Improve ability of MC&FP to make timely, informed decisions and demonstrate impact, value, and relevance of its services to help maintain a ready force and service member and family well-being.
