The Transition Assistance Program prepares eligible service members and families for the transition from active duty to civilian life. Service members can fulfill the requirements of the Veterans Opportunity to Work to Hire Heroes Act of 2012. They can also meet the Career Readiness Standards as mandated by the TAP for Military Personnel Department of Defense Instruction 1332.35.
