The Personnel Accountability & Evacuations Operations program provides the military community with support, resources and guidance for when these disasters happen. Disaster preparedness helps reduce the impact on service members and their families.
The program also provides the Personnel Accountability and Assessment System to help account for service members, Defense Department-affiliated personnel and family members after catastrophes. PAAS assists the military services in a rapid return to recovery.
