Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse and Neglect
The DOD is committed to providing support for service and family members that will enhance their readiness and resiliency. There is zero tolerance when it comes to domestic abuse and child abuse. Each branch of the service has established a Family Advocacy Program to provide for the safety of victims, hold offenders accountable and coordinate a consistent and appropriate response to domestic abuse with local community agencies.
FAP addresses spouse and intimate partner abuse, and child abuse and neglect, through prevention efforts, early identification and intervention, support for victims and treatment for offenders.
Victim Advocate Locator
