The Office of Special Needs provides support to military family members of all ages with medical and/or educational needs. OSN develops policy and provides oversight for the Exceptional Family Member Program and the provision of special education services offered through the Defense Department. OSN collaborates with the military services to ensure families have access to the resources, services and support they need to thrive within the military community.
