Global Household Goods Contract Moves

The Global Household Goods Contract, or GHC, was canceled, effective June 18, 2025. For more information, view the Defense Department PCS Task Force page.

All personal property shipments will be scheduled and/or rebooked under the legacy Tender of Service program. For questions about your current or future move, contact your local household goods/transportation office.

There are still resources for the service members and their families who have moved under GHC. For the most up to date guidance, contact your local household goods/transportation office.

Those who performed a personally procured move, or PPM, in MilMove will continue to use the MilMove system to process required documentation and file for reimbursement. Our Personally Procured Moves Using MilMove fact sheet provides more information on conducting a PPM in MilMove.
