Family Supplemental Subsistence Allowance Application

Benefit overview

Several benefits are available to assist service members during difficult financial times including the Family Supplemental Subsistence Allowance, or FSSA, Program. Eligibility for the FSSA is based on household income level and household size. Service members may be eligible for FSSA only if they are serving outside the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands or Guam.
