The Department of Veterans Affairs Fiduciary Program was established to protect veterans and other beneficiaries who, due to injury, disease or age, are unable to manage their financial affairs.
How this benefit helps
Upon determining a beneficiary is unable to manage his or her financial affairs, the VA will appoint a fiduciary. The fiduciary is responsible to the beneficiary and oversees financial management of VA benefit payments.
