How to access this benefit
Support for veterans who are experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness is available in local VA Medical Centers, where VA staff are ready to help. Veterans and their families can also contact the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at 1-877-4AID-VET to be connected to VA services. Community Resource and Referral Centers provide veterans who are homeless and at risk of homelessness with one-stop access to community-based, multiagency services to promote permanent housing, health and mental health care, career development and access to VA and non-VA benefits.
