VetSuccess on Campus Program

Benefit overview

The Department of Veterans Affairs VetSuccess on Campus, or VSOC, program helps veterans, service members and their dependents at specific colleges and universities through benefits assistance and counseling. The program provides a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (called VSOC Counselors) and a VA Vet Center Outreach Coordinator to each VSOC school to provide counseling and referral services.

How this benefit helps

The VSOC program helps veterans by providing outreach and transition services during their transition from military to college life. VSOC Counselors are easily accessible on campuses, which helps to quickly resolve any problems that could potentially interfere with a veteran’s educational program, to include assisting with disability accommodations.
