USCIS International Offices Closures and the Impact on DoD

In August 2019, USCIS announced the closure of certain international offices by 2020. The Department of State will take on certain in-person services, including:
Issuing travel documentation to lawful permanent residents who lose their Green Cards or Reentry Permit while overseas
The processing of certain forms.
