Habit Hackers Toolkit
Give service members tools to keep bad habits in check. Harmful coping behaviors pose a threat to their well-being, and tough times – so frequent in military life – make it easy for things to get out of hand. But sometimes asking for help can be hard.
A video called “Coping? How’s It Going?” invites service members to reflect and recognize when unhealthy habits are interfering with their life, work and relationships. It normalizes struggling and de-stigmatizes help-seeking for maladaptive coping behaviors.
Help the military community understand addictive behaviors, consider their own habits and find pro help when they need it – share the video and associated materials with other professionals and service members.
