Children, Youth & Family Programs

Children, Youth and Families programs provide an array of support to help families navigate the challenges of military life.

Making sure military-connected children, youth and teens and their families are cared for and supported over time is an important way that the Defense Department takes care of its people.

The Children, Youth and Families office supports a wide variety of programs both on and off installations that help address the unique needs of military children, youth and teens and their families. From online education resources to child care programs, youth and teen centers, school liaison support, non-medical counseling and much more, military parents can find information, resources and services to help them raise healthy, resilient children from birth to age 19.
